Disebuah desa,tinggal seorang anak laki-laki yang malas.Setiap hari yang ia lakukan hanya tidur.In a village, there lived a lazy boy. Every day he did only sleep.
Padahal,tetangga-tetangganya selalu giat bekerja.Saat musim kemarau,penduduk desa harus mencari air ke sungai yang amat jauh.Tetapi,,anak lelaki pemalas itu tak ikut mencari air.Ia malah asyik tiduran dirumahnya.Lama-kelamaan ia merasa kehausan.
In fact, his neighbors are always actively working. During the dry season, villagers have to look for water to a river that is very far away. But, the lazy boy does not come looking for water. He was even absorbed in lying down at his house. Eventually he felt thirst.
"Aku akan menemui penduduk desa dan meminta air kepada mereka,"ujar anak lelaki itu. "I will go to the villagers and ask them for water," said the boy.
Penduduk desa merasa kasihan dengan anak lelaki itu.Beberapa penduduk memberikan air kepadanya.Bahkan,ada juga yang memberikannya makanan.
The villagers felt sorry for the boy. Some residents gave him water. In fact, some gave him food.
"Besok ambilah sendiri air di sungai,sehingga kau tak perlu meminta lagi kepada kami,"ujar salah satu penduduk.
"Tomorrow you take water from the river yourself, so you don't need to ask us anymore," said one resident.
Namun,lelaki pemalas itu tak mengindahkan perkataan penduduk itu.Hari-hari berikutnya pun sama,ia terus sja meminta air kepada penduduk.Penduduk desa yang mengetahui kemalasan pemuda itu,lambat laun menjadi marah.

"Kau carilah air sendiri,Jangan terus menerus meminta kepada kami!"seru salah seorang penduduk.
Lelaki pemalas hanya diam,ia lalu kembali ke rumahnya.Ia kesal dengan penduduk yang tak memberikannya makan dan minum lagi.

The lazy man just kept quiet, he then returned to his house. He was upset with residents who did not give him food and drink anymore.
"Awas,aku akan mencuri air yang ada di rumah kalian,"dengus lelaki pemalas.
Benar saja.Keesokan harinya saat semua penduduk mencari air,lelaki pemalas itu mengambil semua persedian air milik penduduk.Ia minum air itu sepuasnya.
Watch out, I'll steal the water in your house," snorted lazy man.
Sure enough. The next day when all the residents were looking for water, the lazy man took all the residents' water supplies. He drank the water as much as he wanted.
"Ah!Segar sekali air ini.Sekarang aku akan memeberi peljaran kepada semua pendudukAkan aku bawa semua persediaan air ini,sehingga mereka tak bisa minum.,"serunya.
Ah! This water is so fresh. Now I will give a lesson to all the residents. I will bring all this water supply, so they cannot drink, "he exclaimed.
Anak pemalas itu lalu menyembunyikan air itu di dalam sebuah pohon.Olala,pohon yang tadinya pendek,tiba-tiba tumbuh menjadi tinggi,dan semakin tinggi.Akhirnya anak pemalas itu berada tepat di atas pohon itu,bersama dengan air penduduk yang ia bawa.

Saat semua penduduk pulang,mereka mencari air yang mereka miliki.Mereka pun bingung karena air yang mereka miliki hilang.Mereka yakin bahwa anak pemalas itulah yang mrncuri air itu.
When all the residents go home, they look for the water they have. They are confused because the water they have is lost. They believe that the lazy child stole the water
Tiba-tiba penduduk melihat pohon yang menjulang tinggi.Mereka pun melihat anak itu ada di atas pohon.
Suddenly the people saw a towering tree. They also saw the child in the tree.
"Awas kau!"seru seorang penduduk,kemudian memanjat pohon tinggi itu.
Anak pemalas itu amat ketakutan.Dia berusaha menghindar ,namun tiba-tiba.....

Bruk...anak pemalas itu jatuh.Ia segera bangkit dan kembali memanjat pohon untuk menghindari kejaran penduduk.

Namun,ada hal aneh yang terjadi.Saat anak pemalas itu memanjat pohon,tiba-tiba tubuhnya di penuhi bulu.Penduduk yang melihatnya menjadi heran.Ya!pemuda pemalas itu berubah menjadi koala.Itulah koala pertama yang mereka lihat.

Malas hanya akan merugikan diri sendiri dan orang lain,jadi jangan malas ya.
